Designed and engineered to satisfy the requirements of organizations concerned with data security, the Amphibious X5 is also bootable, bus powered, and compatible with Windows and Mac environments without any software installation required.
In addition to being a hardware-based encryption device that helps secure data against hackers and information thieves, the Amphibious X5 supports the 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) Algorithm in real time with virtually no loss in disk performance. Once deployed, all the data on the X5 is protected from unauthorized access in the event that the device is lost or stolen. While in CBC (Cipher Block Chaining) mode, the encryption meets certifications from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and U.S. Federal Information Processing Standard FIPS Level 2 for a cryptographic module. The Amphibious X5 is authenticated by a secure password (PIN number), which is typed on the device for authentication and only then is it ready for secure data transfer. The feature of the Amphibious X5 mobile is that it has an embedded keypad allowing you to key in your PIN directly onto the unit. This ensures protection from key-loggers who may be recording your keystrokes on your computer. Together with full-disk encryption, these feature give you the absolute level of protection.

Secure Shock-Absorbent Mechanism
