Embed or disembed up to four channels of SDI audio with the AJA 3G-AMA Mini Converter. The 3G-AMA includes a breakout cable which can provide up to four channels of XLR analog audio input or output depending on how the unit is configured. The 3G-AMA can be set up to accept four channels of balanced XLR audio to be embedded in an SDI video feed, or to disembed four channels of digital SDI audio and output them as analog signals via the four XLR output cables. The output SDI signal is re-clocked to preserve the signal integrity over long cable runs.

AJA 3G-AMA Overview

Embed or disembed up to four channels of SDI audio with the AJA 3G-AMA Mini Converter. The 3G-AMA includes a breakout cable which can provide up to four channels of XLR analog audio input or output depending on how the unit is configured. The 3G-AMA can be set up to accept four channels of balanced XLR audio to be embedded in an SDI video feed, or to disembed four channels of digital SDI audio and output them as analog signals via the four XLR output cables. The output SDI signal is re-clocked to preserve the signal integrity over long cable runs.

Setting the 3G-AMA up is made simple with AJA's free software solution, MiniConfig. The 3G-AMA connects to your computer running MiniConfig with an included USB 2.0 cable enabling your computer to access the unit's internal programming so you can set it up for your specific workflow.
