This Impact Double-Ended Spigot with 5/8" Stud and 1/4"-20 Threads is a replacement for the stud in Impact's Gaffer Clamp or Manfrotto's Sky Hook Gaffer Clamp. This solid brass accessory fits into the clamp's 5/8" receiver providing compatibility with cameras or accessories with a 1/4"-20 threaded socket. In reverse position, it accommodates lighting accessories with a 5/8" (16mm) baby pin receiver.

If I use this 3.5" spigot on the light stand BH ...
If I use this 3.5" spigot on the light stand BH #IMLS96HABI and then mount the grid head BH #IMKCP200B, should I use the top locking knob screw hole on the grip head or the bottom one to secure the head? Or this spigot doesn't work with the grip head at all?
I was just hoping this longer 3.5" spigot would provide more secure fit than the regular double ended spigot with 3/8" and and 1/4" threads. So I wanted to make sure one of the locking knob screw holes on the grip head #IMKCP200B would line up with the neck of this spigot. Thanks!

Can this be used to mount my Nanlite Forza 500 COB light to my impact heavy duty light stand? The spigot the light stand comes with is too small and flimsy, I'm look for something more robust that will give more stability to this set up. Thanks
