Palmer PRMS82 overview

  • 1Description

The PRMS82 Merger from Palmer is a line-level mixing desk that operates on both dual and mono mode. While in dual mode a total of four stereo sources can be mixed down to one stereo output. In mono mode, eight inputs are available, which can be mixed down to two outputs. All inputs and outputs are balanced with transformers and designed for professional line levels.

The Merger's input gain is adjustable up to a maximum of 20 dB, and the output gain is adjustable and delivers an additional maximum boost of 10 dB, giving the unit a total amplification of 30 dB. There is an LED light for each channel which indicates when the +6 dB working level has been reached. A five-point LED strip provides reliable optical monitoring of output signal strength. The case can be isolated from the electronics ground and all inputs and outputs are equipped with a ground-lift switch.
