The ThunderBay 4 Mini 500GB (4 x 120GB) Four-Bay Thunderbolt 2 Array from OWC / Other World Computing comes with four SSDs and connects to Mac and Windows systems via Thunderbolt. This array features four 2.5" bays that can each house a 120GB SSD to provide your system a total storage capacity of 500GB. When configured in RAID 0, these drives can provide a read speed up to 1315 MB/s and a write speed up to 1309 MB/s. Furthermore, they can be configured, by using your own RAID software, into different RAID options that offer redundancy, speed, or a combination of both. The ThunderBay 4 Mini allows you to handle demanding applications such as workflows involving 4K, 2K, uncompressed HD, and multi-stream SD videos. Moreover, the Mini's size and weight lets you easily transport your data between production environments.

The ThunderBay 4 Mini is equipped with two Thunderbolt 2 ports that transfer data at speeds of up to 20 Gb/s between your system and the array. It also allows you to daisy-chain up to six devices such as additional ThunderBays, 4K displays, and more. To cool the drives and the array, OWC uses a quiet 60mm fan along with a flow-thru vented design. Additionally, included with the array is a 3.3' (1m) Thunderbolt cable to help you get started.

Cooling
ThunderBay 4 Mini utilizes a heat-dissipating aluminum unibody shell with a "flow-thru" vented design and a 60mm quiet fan to keep everything cool.
4K Display Support
The dual Thunderbolt 2 ports let you connect any display including 4K displays.
Vibration Dampened
ThunderBay's drive isolating design reduces sonic resonance, and is aided by rugged, vibration-absorbing, non-skid feet.
Flexible Expansion
Daisy-chain up to six ThunderBays on a single Thunderbolt port for expansive storage, RAID, and performance options.
Software
