I have receptor trouble wont let me pair if i press the pair button all the green leds turn on and then it shut off it self, any idea about the problem? Thanks

In order to assist you it would be helpful to know which transmitter you are using with the AVX EKP receiver. There are two options -- the Sennheiser SK AVX Digital Bodypack Transmitter - 1.9 GHz (B&H # SESKAVX4) and Sennheiser SKM AVX-835S Digital Handheld Microphone Transmitter - 1.9 GHz (B&H # SESKMAVX8354). The receiver and transmitter must both be powered on and within line of sight of each other in order to pair them. The transmitter and receiver need to be within close proximity and able to "see" each other during setup. Please be aware that other Sennheiser transmitters like those from the Evolution series or the XS series (which operate on the UHF band) or XSW-D series (which operates on the 2.4 GHz band) are not compatible for use with the AVX series receiver. Please contact us by phone or through live chat on the website if you have additional questions or if you would like further assistance to troubleshoot the problem.

Is the internal battery removable? Can I purchase extra battery for more run time?
Asked by: Tim
Hi Tim - the EKP Receiver for our AVX system has removable lithium-ion batteries that are easily swapped. The battery model number for the EKP Receiver is BA 20 - it has a 4hr run time and can be recharged to 30% in 15 minutes, 60% in 30 minutes, 75% in 40 minutes and to full capacity in 75 minutes. Additionally, the battery can charge while in operation, so you can use a power bank and a USB micro cable to extend the operating time.

Can the receiver be powered/charged via a Dtap ...

Can the receiver be powered/charged via a Dtap source? (DC 11.9-17v, Unregulated). With a Dtap to Microusb cable?
Asked by: Huay-Bing
The voltage of the Dtap unit would be too much for the battery to handle. A standard usb power brick can be used to charge the batteries. BH #RARPPB010.

Can you use this wireless microphone & receiver ...

Can you use this wireless microphone & receiver for vocals only with a mixer?
Asked by: Larry
The Sennheiser AVX EKP Camera-Mount Digital Plug-In Receiver is just the receiver only, not a complete system with a wireless microphone. But this receiver can be connected to any device with an XLR mic input, like a professional camera, recorder, amplifier, or mixer. You can use the receiver with the included XLR to 1/8" (3.5 mm) DSLR adapter cable to connect it to a camera, recorder, or other device with a 3.5mm mic input or use it together with an additional a 1/4" adapter to connect it to a 1/4" mic input. The complete system with a handheld mic/transmitter is the Sennheiser AVX-835 SET Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Cardioid Handheld Microphone System (B&H # SEAVX835SET4).

Can it be charged via D-Tap power source? (DC 11.9-17v) With a D tap to Micro USB cable? And is it operable while plugged in?
Asked by: Huay-Bing
You could use the AVX with a D-Tap power source, however you would need to ensure the voltage out to the unit is 5v. Here's a cable that could regulate the power: BH #GYDTAPMUSBLC. The AVX can be powered via micro-usb while in use.
