Is this great for reception wedding wherein you want to light up the reception (when dark) ?

These LED are more designed for use in a interview. For use in a wedding it will highly be dependent on the camera settings and the size of the venue.

How many hours does it last?

How many hours does it last?
Asked by: roberto
The run time would depend on the watt/hour rating of the battery. For example, the use of the V-mount plate on the Dracast LED500 Plus Series Bi-Color LED Light along with one battery from the Dracast Dual Charger with Two 90Wh V-Mount Batteries, BH # DR90S2CK would give you a run time of roughly 3 hours at full output. https://bhpho.to/3xxGpy9

question

Will this light take a V mount battery?
Asked by: trey v.
Yes, but No... The construction of the entire V-mount base is of such ridiculously low quality plastic, this appears more toy-like than 'pro'. If you attempt to attach any reasonably sized/weighted V-lock batteries, the plate will simply rip right out of the second plastic base it is attached to. Imagine that, plastic on plastic. The build quality is so poor in fact, my answer would be no, do not attempt attaching anything to this light other than XLR.

question

Can I mount this Dracast LED500 Plus Series Bi-Color LED Light to the hot shoe of a Canon XF200 camcorder, with or without any additional mounting hardware, or does it have to be mounted/secured on a stand?
Asked by: Luciano M.
Unfortunately, this light is not recommended for on-camera use due to the weight. It is recommended for use on a light stand.
