Can H.264 recordings be done at a higher bit rate than 10mbs or are they only intended as proxy files for viewing?

We're afraid not. The highest recording level for H.264 is 10 Mb/s.

question

does this work with the fuji x-t2?
Asked by: Valentino
Yes it does. I am using it with X-T2. You can record F-LOG and load F-LOG to REC 709 LUT to the PIX-E5H so you can expose easier when not using lightmeter or 40 IRE card. Only thing which does not work for me is 1 button recording. PIX-E5H does not start recording when I hit record on X-T2. So you have to press record twice. Once on X-T2 and once on PIX-E5H. Not big deal.

question

does this work with sony fs5 upgrade
Asked by: Casey
The PIX-E5H has an HDMI input for recording only. It will work with the FS5 through HDMI for recording 4K. However the FS5 RAW Upgrade is for the camera's SDI outputs and also requires a recorder that can process the RAW signal, the PIX-E5H will not work for that I'm afraid.
