SHAPE Dual Handgrip Set Overview

This pair of Shape Universal 1/4"-20 Screw Handles are designed to attach to the Atomos Shogun Cage for faster and easier transport and mobility. They feature Shape's push-button technology that allows for quick adjustment of the handle at the push of a button. You can adjust the handles up or down as well as slide them sideways.

Featuring 1/4"-20 mounting screws, these handles can also be used various other equipment, including other cages. The handles are made from CNC machined aluminum parts and a stainless steel locking mechanism for durability and sturdiness.

I picked up these because I needed some dependable handles for my FX9. However, I found out they are great for the FX9, Alexa Mini LF and my new Alexa 35. Great product.

I have these handles for all my cameras. They are super comfortable to hold (both the angle of the handle and the rubber material), beautifully made and the spring design to rotate the handles is simply excellent.

Comfortable but issue with Arri Rosette mounts

Very comfortable and great design. However, there is a issue with the arri rosette's that you attach the arms to. The screws that attach these are very shallow and it's easy to kills the threads on them when tightening. Really wish those screws were longer, replaced them and the handles are rock solid.

Is it possible to remove the rubber handles and pop on another rosette handle, such as the tilta nucleus grips?

We actually have an adaptor available for the Nucleus grips that you can find here: https://www.shapewlb.com/shape-nucleus-handle-clamp-relocator You simply remove the rubber handles including the aluminum clamp with an allen key and insert the designed clamp for it. Can this exact set be used on the fx9? It seems like the right side handle can work as an extension handle as well

This is designed specifically for URSA Mini cameras. Also, the FX9 does not have a rosette on the left hand side for it. It cannot be used with the FX9.

Hello Jay, Thank you for your question! Although it would work as an assembly with both parts, you would be better off purchasing our handles with the rod bloc on it directly. The design is way better and you wouldn't have to assemble it. Is the black version all black? Or are there silver accents to it?

The black version features black fasteners as opposed to the red fasteners on the red version. The silver metal parts at the joints are the same color on both versions.
