The 250 GB DX4816HD-250 16-Channel Hybrid Video Recorder from Pelco is ideal for customers who have continued requirements for 16 analog cameras and wish to expand their systems with megapixel IP recording. The ability to support 8 Pelco or Axis Megapixel IP cameras gives customers flexibility in their IP migration path.
The HVR includes a CPU resource meter that monitors system resources in real time and is a useful gauge for the addition of IP cameras to the system. The HVR records up to 30 ips on all channels. Customers can take advantage of high-resolution video by displaying output from the recorder on 1080p monitors over VGA. The recorder is compatible with all Pelco VGA 1080p monitors.
With 250 GB of internal storage, the recorder overcomes the storage demands of Megapixel and high-speed recordings, without compromising speed for resolution. Customers can readily expand storage with either JBOD or RAID 5 optional eSATA devices (sold separately). The DX48DX4816HD-250HD adds the ability to record full frame rate videos at 4CIF resolution for all cameras.
The unique HDD partitioning feature allocates individual disk partitions for normal and alarm recording if desired. The optional DS ControlPoint software integrates with DX Series products as well as Digital Sentry systems. Thanks to the bi-directional audio feature of this HVR, you get enhanced security, and can access instant playback for quick investigative work. And, the ability to capture and overlay ATM/POS text with video recording gives this HVR an edge.
Suitable for applications including cash-counters, cashiers, entry/exit, or high-value merchandise areas, this HVR also features client-server connectivity that permits operation from a remote location, and can connect to as many as 100 DX Series systems simultaneously. Each server supports 5 simultaneous remote connections.
