The 1.2TB 750 Series 2.5" PCIe 3.0 x4 NVM Express SSD from Intel allows you to store and quickly access up to 1.2TB of your files, be it movies, music, documents, and much more. With solid state drive technology and a PCI Express Gen3 x4 interface, you benefit from load and access times for your files and programs that are not only faster than a conventional hard disk drive, but also faster than an SSD that uses a SATA connection. This 750 Series SSD is built with a 2.5" / 15mm form factor, providing a cabled solution where an accessible PCIe 3.0 slot is not available and the motherboard has been provisioned with an SFF-8643 connector. This solution is well suited for small form factor and multi-GPU systems where space is an issue. This flexibility also provides a viable direct attach solution for small form designs with an SFF-8639 connector on board.
In terms of speed, this drive offers sequential read times of up to 2,400 MB/s and sequential write times of up to 1,200 MB/s, as well as 4KB reads up to 440,000 IOPS and 4K writes up to 290,000 IOPS (Input/Output Operations per Second). In addition, this SSD also utilizes 20nm Intel NAND Flash Memory Multi-Level Cell (MLC) flash memory and features a 20 µs read and write latency, 1.2 million hour MTBF, and a lifetime endurance of up to 70GB writes per day. Since SSDs contain no mechanical parts, they are more durable against physical damage, including data loss and are not subject to the wear and tear that standard HDDs receive from read/write heads. It does not any legacy AHCI commands.
