This Cokin Z-Pro Series Blue Filter Kit from B&H includes one 4 x 4" (100 x 100mm) light balancing filter and four 4 x 6" (100 x 150mm) graduated filters that can be used to add blue to your images in various capacities. They are constructed from durable, optical resin (CR39), are compatible with the separately-available Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder, and can be applied individually or in combination with each other.

The Cokin Z-Pro Series 80C Light Balancing Filter is uniform in color and with a mired shift value of -81, can be applied to purposely create a cool cast over an entire image. This effect can be obtained under daylight when this filter is used on a camera system with daylight film installed, or on a digital camera system with its daylight white balance setting selected. The Cokin Z-Pro Series 80C Light Balancing Filter is also useful for balancing light sources with a color temperature of 3800K for daylight film, which is designed to accurately reproduce colors under 5500K light sources. Its 0.3 density and 2x filter factor darkens an image by one stop.

The Cokin Z-Pro Series Soft-Edge Graduated Blue 0.2 Filter can be used to add blue to a hazy or colorless sky. When used instead of a polarizer filter to enhance the sky within an image, the desired effect can be applied only to the sky, without any unwanted polarization or additional contrast to any part of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A graduated filter with a soft-edged line of transition is able to filter the sky while minimizing its effect on the land. It is particularly useful where the transition between sky and foreground is indeterminate, such as images featuring mist, fog, or the tops of trees. This filter has up to a 0.2 density and reduces light from entering a lens by up to two-thirds of a stop.

The Cokin Z-Pro Series Hard-Edge Graduated Blue 0.5 Filter is also a graduated filter that can be used to add blue to a hazy or colorless sky. The filter is densest at the edge as well, and tapers to clear by the middle, with a hard-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A graduated filter with a hard-edged line of transition is useful for images which include defined horizon lines. This filter has up to a 0.5 density and reduces light from entering a lens by up to one and two-thirds of a stop.

The Cokin Z-Pro Series Hard-Edge Graduated Blue 0.6 Filter is also a graduated filter that can be used to add blue to a hazy or colorless sky. The filter is densest at the edge as well, and tapers to clear by the middle, with a hard-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. This filter has up to a 0.6 density and reduces light from entering a lens by up to two stops.

The Cokin Z-Pro Series Graduated Blue 0.7 to 0.4 Filter's graduated, edge-to-edge coloration can be used to create an intentional blue effect, which features gradation, over an entire image. The filter is densest at one edge with up to a 0.7 density that tapers to approximately a 0.4 density at the other edge. This filter's 0.7 to 0.4 density range corresponds to a reduction of light from entering a lens by two and one-third of a stop to one and one-third of a stop.

The compatible Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder can accommodate up to two of the filters in this kit to add blue to an image at various densities greater than what is possible with only one of the included filters.
