The 150 Mb/s Wireless IEEE802.11b/g/n Nano USB Adapter from EDIMAX Technology supports maximum range and speed. Despite its size, this tiny USB adapter supports data rates up to 150 Mb/s when connecting with wireless 802.11n devices, which is three times faster than 802.11g connections. Just plug it into your computer's USB port for high-speed wireless network access.

Complies with Wireless 802.11n Standards with Data Rate Up to 150 Mb/s
The EW-7811Un complies with wireless IEEE802.11b/g/n standards. The EW-7811Un can increase your wireless coverage by 3x and help reduce "dead spots" compared to older 802.11g adapters. Data transmission rates can reach 150 Mb/s when connected to 802.11n devices, with greater range and stability compared to 802.11g connectivity.
Supports Green WLAN
The EW-7811Un adjusts transmission output by distance and CPU offload to help reduce power consumption when idle. With its green WLAN technology, power consumption can be reduced by 20 to 50% to help you save on electric bills and protect the environment.
Supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a standard for easy and secure establishment of a wireless network. This wireless USB adapter supports software WPS-compatible configuration. By pressing two buttons, your wireless network is immediately secured, provided that your wireless router also supports WPS.
Supports Multi-Language Easy Setup Wizard
The included 16-language setup wizard and friendly user interface will walk you through the configuration of the EW-7811Un.
Portable and Compact design
The compact design of EW-7811Un makes it very portable and less prone to physical damage when plugged into a USB port.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works very well for the small size. Even at a distance of about 34 feet, I still get a full five bars. I love that it is so small but has no problem giving me a reliable connection. The one problem that I have had so far is relitively slow connection speed. On my laptop that is at a slightly farther distance, I get about 54.0 Mbps while on my PC (which has the WiFi adapter, I have a lesser speed of about 36.0 Mbps. I do have a slow internet speed though. Overall, I would recomend this product to anyone who uses their PC at a close distance to their wireless router.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not too good. It sets up fine, gets to working fine although when I had it on, it greatly reduced my speed , also had issues with it loading things slowly , sometimes it would feel like my internet was out for a minute or two, games for example like slither weren't really smooth , shot around a tiny bit at times , but for someone who just needs a wifi adapter just for the basic wifi to get onto things, this would be good. Gamers -- don't recommend it for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing little device... The computer I use this on is a Compaq Presario SR1517CL Desktop running Linux 17.2. After plug in it was recognized and didn't require the included software from the little CD.It seems to run at decent speeds. I can't say how it would do on a 'MAC' or 'PC' though the box and manual say it should work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good Aside from it not working on the computer I wanted it to, (Not because it was broken, but because my computer is running windows 8.1 and I lacked the proper drivers for it to work.) It worked great on my other computer! It was fast and it wasn't any slower than the ethernet cord that I was using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy i use this on the go for my laptop as I don't regularly need internet and its great and ultra compact. It looks like a mouse receiver so people don't notice it at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality for the price. Works as it should. Very easy installation. This is for basic internet, not for the 5ghz internet options some companies give you on your new modems.
