    M-Audio AV32 reviews

AV32 Compact Desktop Speakers for Professional Media Creation (Pair) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great - especially for the price I was hoping to find a second pair of M-Audio AV40s, which I've been using as monitors for video editing for several years, but they seem to have been discontinued. Pleased with M-Audio and wanting to stick with them, I opted for the slightly smaller AV32s, and am not disappointed. They're considerably smaller and lighter than the AV40s, but still give good sound. I'm using them on a computer set up for webinars, so don't need lots of volume—just clear, clean, realistic sound, and they deliver.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Computer speakers I use these speakers for monitoring the audio in my video editing software and generally to listen to music played from the system. Installed easily and they sound pretty good for an under $80.00 pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for music production, bad for computers speakers I bought the AV32 speakers for use as computer speakers at work, where I listen at a VERY low volume. I used them for a week before I decided they were unsuited to this purpose for two reasons: 1 - you have to aim them directly at your ears or there's a huge roll-off in treble; and 2 - the bass level is poor, even for studio-monitor style speakers. I will use them at home for music production, instead. I replaced them (at the office) with Sterling MX3 speakers, which have a richer bottom end, and a far wider treble dispersal. I understand the AV32 speakers are not really suited to be PC speakers in an office, but I wanted something that could give a rich sound at a very low volume. For small music production, I'd rate them higher. But of course, they're only 3 speakers, and you'd want something at least 5 for true music production.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome ! I just got these babies today , they are small , light weight but awesome sound ,if you using them for small home studio (which I'm using it) they are really worth the price you pay ! if you looking for something to have party with it and loud bass DONT BUY THESE! these are not for party ! it got flat sound , nice raw EQ , so you can work with them for your music projects ! so yea I rate 5 , because they are awesome!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much better than laptop speakers They sound much better than laptop speakers. Very clear sound. Project cars sounds good through them. Music also sounds good and you can hear details that you can't hear with earbuds/built in computer speakers. There is an annoying blue light but a small strip of tape fixes the problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Incredibly cheap and decent monitors They can sound a bit shrill with certain vocals, but otherwise they are decent sounding little monitors for the price. The JBLLSR305's are great, but they cost more than twice as much. If you're trying to save every penny, you might want to check them out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in show at this price point! Mixing audio for backing tracks and Original music is a breeze with these babys. I was suprised how great they sound as I have the 5 and 8 inch M-audio monitors in my other rooms. You will need a sub if you monitor louder but at lower levels they are great.
