The Xylophone Upgrade to Full Library from the Vienna Symphonic Library provides additional articulations and samples for the Xylophone Standard Library (required). The sample-based virtual instrument features the sounds of the bright and penetrating xylophone, an instrument made up of wooden bars of various lengths arranged according to pitch. The xylophone has a higher and more narrow range when compared to the marimbaphone, and is played with a variety of mallets: soft, medium, and hard plastic, wood, yarn-wound, and cluster mallets.
