The Upright Bass from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument featuring recordings with Bernd Konzet, a well-known jazz bassist form the Austrian state Vorarlberg. Utilizing a 4 string three-quarter bass with thinner E and A strings and thicker D and G strings, the bass recordings offer pizzicato articulations and contain staccatos, portatos, and sustains with various vibrato strengths. The collection is rounded out with various snaps, noises, and other effects.
Note:
The software requires a ViennaKey USB or similar protection device if one is not already on the system.
