The KA7240 Virtual Media PS/2 USB Console Module offers secure access to the servers in a matrix KVM switch from a PS/2 or USB console. The KA7240 provides an extra computer port for integration with a computer workstation, enabling users to switch between the local computer and the servers in the matrix KVM switch. With its graphical user interface, graphical on-screen display, and menus and icons, the console module is designed to be accessible and intuitive. The built-in RS-232 port allows administrators to establish a serial terminal log-in and to control the KVM port access for all consoles connected to the switch. The Console Module also features an automatic skew compensation function to correct color phase and timing errors that occur over long distance transmissions. The module comes with two stacking brackets and various cables and adapters for set-up.
