Sony SRG-120DH Overview

The SRG120DH/PAC5 EZ-2-Connect PTZ Camera Solution from Sony includes a SRG120DH 1/2.8" CCD 12x PTZ Desktop Camera and RC5-SRG Camera Extension kit.

The SRG-120DH 12x PTZ Desktop Camera is a remote controlled high definition 1080p/60 PTZ camera with a 12x optical zoom designed for desktop use. It incorporates Sony's high-sensitivity 1/2.8" type Exmor CMOS sensor and an HDMI interface, and is equipped with View-DR dynamic range enhancement and XDNR technology. This camera is RS-232C capable and features a 12x digital zoom, with a 71° horizontal viewing angle. It is ideal for videoconferencing and remote monitoring applications.

The RemoteCam5 digital PTZ camera extension kit uses single Cat5e/6 UTP cables for extending camera signals for up to 300'. Provided threaded mounting holes on the side of the camera module allow for flexible mounting options with Sound Control Technologies Wall Mounts or custom design solutions. A rackmountable head-end module enclosure provides clean and easily terminated cabling for UTP wiring, video, control, VISCA, and power supply when deployed with Sound Control Technologies' rack shelves.

Camera's Features

High Image Quality: The camera incorporates Sony's high-sensitivity 1/2.8" type Exmor CMOS sensor and View-DR technology. The 60p shooting capability ensures smooth, reduced blur life-like images.
View-DR (Wide Dynamic Range) feature: It provides extremely wide dynamic range with full-capture Wide-D technology utilizing the Exmor CMOS sensor's high-speed readout capability and Visibility Enhancer (VE) that provides a high level of chrominance and luminance. Achieves up to 130 dB. (29.97 fps).
XDNR Technology: Reduces noise and provides clear images in both moving and still objects under low light conditions.
Camera Control: VISCA over IP technology allows for easy control of camera over IP connection.
