The Smart-UPS On-Line RT 1500VA Tower/Rack-Mountable 120V UPS from APC can be used in a tower or a rack-mount environment and offers six NEMA 5-15R connectors to provide efficient power protection for your electrical equipment. Armed with a maintenance-free sealed lead-acid battery, it delivers a continuous supply of power in case of a power loss. It corrects low and high voltage conditions and outputs pure sine waves to protect sensitive electronic equipment. Furthermore, you can control and configure the UPS using a computer via a serial port or access it remotely utilizing a network.
APC has equipped this Smart-UPS with an audible alarm that alerts you to events like changing UPS conditions, power outages, and low battery conditions. When power is restored after a power failure, the Smart-UPS features an automatic restart function that will automatically power up and start up connected devices. For prolonging the battery life, an intelligent battery management system regulates the charge voltage to the battery as per its current temperature. In addition, the scheduled self-battery test will alert you in case of a problem with the battery. You can also replace the battery without interrupting the surge protection with the hot-swappable battery feature.
