    Peerless-AV ETFMU-NEW reviews

ETFMU Universal Flat Wall Mount for 32 to 50" Displays is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sturdy Product but the Install was a Bear The unit was easy to mount to the wall. My problems started when I tried to mount the vertical pieces to my 43 UHD TV. The back of the TV was not perfectly flat, the bottom 3 or 4 inches bumped out an extra inch in the bottom of the rear of the TV. That forced me to move the vertical brackets higher on the rear of the TV otherwise, the TV would have been tilted towards the ceiling. When we hung the TV on the wall mount, because the vertical brackets were higher and because the wall mount is so shallow, the back of the TV is very close to the wall and even with my longest screw driver, it was very difficult to reach the locking screws that lock the TV in place. If I were doing it again, I'd get the wall mounts that have a more simplified latching mechanism that do not require turning of a screw behind the unit when mounted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rear Brackets Too Tall I used this wall mount with a Samsung 43 UHD TV (200x200 pattern). Mounting the wall bracket was easy. When I went to attach the vertical pieces on the back of the TV, they would not mount flat because the back of the TV was not completely flat - the bottom 5 inches of the TV sticks out an extra half inch or so. My only options were to move the brackets up so the bottom end of the vertical pieces were above the raised portion of the TV or use inch of spacers so the rear brackets were parallel to the back of the TV. The second option did not work because non of the screws provided were long enough to accommodate inch spacers. The problem with the first option is that the brackets ended up being about 2 - 3 inches higher than they should have been so the TV ended up being that much higher on the wall (I had already mounted the rear bracket to the wall). I used the first option since that was the only one I could use with the available screws. My wife and I easily got the TV hung on the rear bracket but now the lock-screws I needed to tighten were out of reach of even my longest screwdriver and there is very little room between the TV and the wall to reach into with my arm. Getting those two screws tightened was very difficult. Bottom-line: I made it work but I would not recommend this unit with this TV.
