Will this be good as continuous light for still photography, or is it really for video?
Asked by: Rivki
it will be great for still photography as continuous light, it is controllable for dimming the light and choosing the light color for short distance from the object. it is not strong burst as flash light but it is more “natural” ....

question

Does it come with a battery?
Asked by: Avrohom K.
It does NOT come with a battery. I suggest buying the Watson B-4205 battery. Charger is sold seperately. I use that battery with that LED light, and it is excellent.

question

Will this take a NP-FV70 battery? And will the 2500mAh be sufficient for a few hours of bright-light recording?
Asked by: T K.
How bright is bright? I use it as an extra light to fill in deep shadows, and to just separate the subject to the background. I like that it takes AA batteries because I can just leave it in my portable camera bag and always have it when I need it in a pinch. I actually found a super light that has a broader span that is also bi-color and uses only one Sony battery, it's the Genaray Crux 10 Round Bi-Color LED Light B&H # GECR10B MFR # CR-10B. B&H personal steers you away from it, but I found that it is 'What I need' and it's super easy to use and set up. Hope you find what you NEED!

question

when dimmed down to 0%(lowest level) does this make no light at all like total darkness?
Asked by: Daesuk James
I use Watson Black AA batteries in mine. When the dimming the light completely, you can hear and feel the dim control click OFF. There is NO light at all. I just checked both my lights in a completely darkened room. Possibly the light behaves differently with a lithium battery.
