  • 1Description

Use your mouse on difficult surfaces like glass with the full-size black MP230L Wireless Performance Mouse from Kensington. Suitable for both right- and left-handed users, the MP230L has side buttons for quicker navigation in addition to the traditional two-button and scroll wheel top. The laser sensor on the mouse can be adjusted for precision control; choose between 800, 1200, 1600, and 3200 DPI. The MP230L communicates with your computer via 2.4 GHz wireless using a compact nano-USB receiver, and functions within a 30' range. Plug & Play installation means that as soon as you insert the nano receiver into an available USB port, the mouse driver will download and install automatically, allowing you to begin using your MP230L right away.

    Kensington MP230L reviews

MP230L Wireless Performance Mouse (Black) is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a Mouse This mouse certainly does function on more surfaces than older mouses (mice ?). The primary reason for purchasing this mouse was to use for editing images in Photoshop. The mouse gave me finer control for selecting objects in my photos. So from that standpoint, I am happy. What is a bit disappointing is the mouse is not shaped well. I often have to pick up the mouse and reposition it on my desk while I am using it to draw fine lines. In order to lift the mouse, it is necessary to squeeze it firmly. It would have been better if the shape allowed me to lift the mouse without and additional pressure on the sides.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dodgy Quality Control. Had to return this mouse after only fifteen minutes of use. Based on other reviews I've found here and around the web, you either get a good copy, or a bad copy. I got the latter. The mouse didn't track as smoothly as it should have, and it had serious lag and very choppy ONLY during a click-and-drag! Can't have that while working in programs like Photoshop. The receiver dongle plugged into my computer can't be more than three feet away, so it's not a distance issue. I was using the new Energizer batteries (expiry date 2026) that came with the mouse. The scroll wheel wouldn't turn smoothly because the assembly of that little wheel was off kilter! To top it all off (and I knew this before purchasing), the receiver dongle can't receive more than one wireless unit, like a mouse and keyboard combo. I think I'll just get a Logitech and be done with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertized I have used a couple of Performance MX mice for years and expected something comparable. This mouse works similarly but lacks the rechargeable USB connection that I prefer so that the two AA batteries have to be changed. It also is a bit slicker than the old mouse whose feel I prefer (but then I am used to it). Otherwise works well. Best for people who absolutely need a full-time wireless mouse. Used on an iMac running Parallels so I can recommend for Windows 10 and Sierra.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from spec sais it is for left handed but it does not work. the side buttons are still only for the right thumb. and these buttons make holding mouse in left hand somewhat awkward.
