question
The HP quickspecs for the Z240 tower also specify the HP Z Turbo Drive G2 512GB SSD as compatible and nothing is mentioned of a special version for the Z240 as you list in your options for it. Which is correct? It sounds like the Z240 takes this standard turbodrive as used on other Z versions. Help!!
Asked by: Albert S.
This drive is not compatible with the HP Z240.

question
Is the embeded m.2 SSD board backwards compatible to support PCIe 2.0 / ACHI ? Can It be taken out and be placed in a zbook 15 G2? (The zbook 15 G2 m.2 slot would support PCIe 2.0 / ACHI and not PCI 3.0 / NVMe).
Asked by: Uri W.
The HP Z Turbo Drive G2 PCIe SSD is only supported on HP Z440, HP Z640, and HP Z840 Workstations. It is not supported in zBook Mobile workstations.
