The DLEV-1 Leveling Base from Desmond is a versatile tripod and support accessory that allows the user to precisely level a tripod head or quick release clamp. At just 1.5" tall the leveler is easily transportable and can support up to 6.6 lb—impressive for it's compact size. Its lightweight aluminum construction adds a negligible amount of weight—just 7.4 oz—to any tripod or support set-up and the integrated 3/8"-16 top and bottom threads accommodate most mainstream photo accessories. Additionally, the top plate utilizes an anti-friction cork mat to protect your gear from scratches and prevent unwanted movement while shooting.

DLEV-1 Leveling Base is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the cost difference. I use this leveler in conjunction with a sunfoto quick clasp system. I have this leveler attached to the quick release plate. I had an issue with the tightening tool hitting the edges of this leveler as i spun it to tighten where I had to go and get 2 washers from the hardware store but now is very tight and was no hassle at all. Now this does seem to be the more cheaper alternative or knock off version and when it came I found one of the wheels to be quite rigid but after I loosened the screw underneath the bottom plate under the wheels it worked well. So for the price difference I am very happy with it, it is quite sturdy with a bit of weight to it and leveling is a breeze...much easier and quicker than moving legs as i was doing before hand.
