This white and gold QODE Ultimate Pro Keyboard Case from Belkin provides an iPad Air 2 with a physical Bluetooth keyboard suitable for comfortable, long-duration typing. Tablet users accustomed to working on a laptop, as well as those who do not wish to have any part of their iPad's screen taken up by a virtual keyboard can also appreciate this keyboard case's well-spaced and responsive keys. Fast and accurate typing is also promoted by the keyboard design. MacBook and notebook PC users can feel particularly at home with this keyboard case as it contains the same number of keys as a laptop and features three brightness levels which can be set according to various low-light conditions.

Built-in magnets secure your tablet into one of two selectable viewing angles so that your iPad's screen is well positioned relative to where you are working while on the go. Both landscape and portrait modes are supported by the keyboard's magnetic hinge that allows for instant repositioning of your tablet's orientation. When you wish to interact directly with your iPad's screen or handhold your tablet, the integrated standalone case that holds the iPad against the keyboard's magnetic hinge can be instantly detached along with a tablet inside. The standalone case is compatible with Apple iPad Smart Covers, so an iPad Air 2 can always be afforded dual-sided protection particularly when being handheld. Whether handheld or connected to the keyboard, the standalone case directs sounds generated by the iPad toward the front of the screen so that audio from the tablet's speakers is improved. When you wish to resume using your iPad on the keyboard, the magnetic elements in the standalone case and the keyboard allow it to be reattached just as quickly.

Up to two Bluetooth 4.0 devices can be paired to this keyboard case at the same time, with one-button control provided to select between them. This is particularly useful when typing a document on a tablet and collaborating with a colleague through text messaging. If you cannot or do not wish to hide your document in order to switch to a messaging app on your tablet, but want to continue typing on the physical keyboard and your smartphone is paired as well, you can instantly switch keyboard inputs to the smartphone, create and send a text, then switch back to the tablet.

When you are not using your iPad, the keyboard case can be closed over the standalone case. Rubber feet along the case prevent the keyboard from touching the iPad's screen. Anodized, aircraft-grade aluminum alloy is used for durable screen protection. The thin profile of your iPad Air 2 is preserved along with access to all tablet buttons, ports, and cameras.

The QODE Ultimate Pro Keyboard Case for iPad Air 2 includes automatic on and off switching by sensing the weight of a tablet that is attached to it. Folding the fabric and magnetic flaps all the way to the rear of the keyboard, also signals the keyboard to turn on. This feature allows for Bluetooth pairing even when a tablet is not resting on the keyboard. These automatic and manual power management features contribute to the keyboard case's battery being able to last for up to one year before it needs to be recharged. The battery is built-in and is not user-replaceable.

QODE Ultimate Pro Keyboard Case for iPad Air 2 (White/Gold) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Keyboard I use the keyboard to complement my IPad Air 2. Very good keyboard functionality. Good spacing on the keys. Decided to move to digital and I have been using this with Evernote and am now far more productive and on top of conversations and actions. Easy set up. I had a colleague the other day double take and ask if I had a new laptop and then realized it was a separate keyboard and iPad combo. I like the magnetic clip in, the easy ability to pull the iPad out and work on it alone. Fast key and iPad connect when opened and auto off when closed. Really if you are after something for work this is it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good Product, a few minor hiccups. Good product, just a few minor hiccups. Good for typing in low to no light situations. It is 2015 folks, keyboards without night capabilities is archaic. I would just tweak some things though. For example, the way the well made removable tablet holder section separates from the keyboard, a little too much for my taste. A second magnetic flap would solve that problem. There is also the bluetooth adapter that is inside the unit needs some tweaking. This could be solved by allowing you to either tweak the settings by computer using the USB or an app; also we should be able to cut off the case so the bluetooth can reset if stuck. All in all, I researched a couple of other of these types of folio cases. I have been a techie for 30 years and this was one of my top choices.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Before buying READ THIS Please read before concerning to buy! When I first brought the item I sat the iPad up to type and when I got up holding it by the keyboard everything fell. CRACKED MY IPAD SCREEN. Keyboard doesn't stay attached to iPad. Even the slightest touch disconnects the two from each other. When they disconnect the iPad bottom slides on the keys which knocks them out. there is no way to keep it from disconnecting ( I tried and researched it ). There is nothing I can say good about it. I would of took it back but I lost some of the knocked off keys. PLUS every time I charge it I had to reset the Bluetooth for it to work

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works with ipad pro 9.7 inch Bluetooth keyboards have a delay in being recognized when the ipad is started, so I first tried the apple smart keyboard. It was a disaster. The keyboard flops over while typing. The belkin is much sturdier, and the keyboard is better suited for my hands. However, it is not perfect; it often has connectivity problems. Belkin has a great troubleshooting website. You press 4 keys to reset the keyboard, and turn off bluetooth. But now i figured out that i need only unattach and reattach the magnetic backing, and the devices connect. Sigh. The second point to consider is that the case and keyboard are heavier than the 11inch macbook air. If I didn't need a signature, I would just use the macbook air. On the positive side, the case disconnects from the keyboard easily, and it already protected my ipad from a drop! I really like the ease in disconnecting the bottom keyboard when i don't need it, but that does cause a connectivity problem later. Just be aware that you need to disconnect and reconnect the backing. And ignore the firmware update from the app. It doesn't update with iOS 9.3.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disconnects from iPad too often Love the design and the fact you can pull the iPad off from the keyboard but keep it in the case. But it disconnects from the iPad way, way too often, rending it useless as a keyboard. I spend more time trying to reconnect it so I can type than I do actually typing. I really wanted to like this keyboard, and have tried to use it despite its flaws, but the connectivity issues really render this keyboard useless in just about every way. If the keyboard would stay connected, I could give it a 5 star rating, but as is, it's an overpriced paperweight. Really disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent keyboard This is a great keyboard although it's a little heavy. Since it is held together with magnets, I'm not sure what would happen if you dropped it. Not going to try to find out. It make typing emails and documents much easier (like a computer) than using the popup keyboard on the iPad. It also holds the iPad at 2 different angles for viewing. The instructions are really non-existent and it requires a little trial and error to find out what the keys are for. You can always detach the iPad from the keyboard easily but it is still heavier than I would have liked. Turns the iPad into a small computer that retains the touch screen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great at first, then FAIL Although this keyboard case was an expensive purchase when compared to competitors' products, I initially thought it was well worth the extra expense. However, over time, several keys have fallen off the keyboard (and can't be reattached) and the protective rubber has pealed off. Like others, I've sometimes had trouble with the Bluetooth pairing, but managed to eventually get it to connect to my iPad. I've taken good care of my keyboard case, so I'm extremely disappointed in its durability. This isn't what I've come to expect from Belkin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not best choice I got this for Christmas 2015 to replace a Logitech keyboard. The only reason for replacing is because this one had backlit keys and you could use it landscape or portrait. I'm not real happy with it 1 the magnetic that holds it on is pretty week. If you forget and grab it up wrong there is a good chance you will drop either the iPad or keyboard. 2 the backlit has to be turned in ever time. Unfortunately when I'm in the dark I can't see where the key is to turn it on. 3 you have to wake it up to use it. So many time I will be typing then look up and it did not even type the first few letters. So aggravating!! I should have sent it back. I'm using my Logitech again.
