question

Is this available in xs-small? How do you differentiate when ordering?
Asked by: Anonymous
The size of the Easyrig is based on the camera, not the user. If an xs-small vest was made, it would not adequately fit the operator or be able to hold it's 39 lbs payload. The various Easyrigs are adjustable to most any body size. There are Easyrigs that are made for female operators as well. So that we may best assist you, please email us. [email protected].

question

Does this item comes with a flowcine serene pre-installed?Cause its mentions on the name of the product Easyrig Vario 5 Vest with Flowcine Serene Pre-Installed B&H # EAVGRSE with the price of 6860$ and than I have the same option with the price 7069$ with the number B&H # EAVGRSEEXTso what is the difference between them if the both names are saying the flowcine serene pre-installed?
Asked by: Iaroslav
The more expensive package includes the Serene Extension. This extension, which works in 10mm increments, allows you to find the perfect distance the camera can be from your body. More information is here: https://bit.ly/2GKcVPP

question

Can the vest be detached and washed in a washing machine?
Asked by: Kevin J.
The Vest can be detached. However it is not recommended to place into a washing machine due to metal mechanical components still attached to the vest. Instead the Manufacture recommends hand washing using a brush and mild detergent. Then after that air drying the system.

question

going to order one of these, was wondering which size arm to get- is it more based on the body of the cameraman/ type of camera rig/ or type of movement?
Asked by: jason K.
Arm selection is mostly based on type of camera. No extension=ENG handlheld camera over your shoulder. 5 Extension=for handheld cameras like RED or caged DSLR. 9 extension is for very large cameras. You also have to select the weight so that the string matches the load as well. Having used the Easyrig I can say it is a useful tool. In certain situations, it is the only one to use.

question

Since the vest comes in different sizes (small, medium, large) how do I select the size of the vest?
Asked by: Oliver
These are the vest sizes: Hip belt sizes:Small XS - SMedium M - XLLarge XL - XXXXL70cm (28 in.) to 80cm (31in.)80cm (31in.) to 130cm (51in.)100cm (39in.) to 150cm (59in)I don't believe I had the option to choose the size on the site. I would make a note to make sure you get the size preference. Luckily, we got the size we wanted. :)

What is the difference between the Gimbal Rig and Cinema 3 vests? The images and descriptions are too vague.

The Gimbal Rig has a modified vest has been designed with a wider front, fitting around the waist and over the hips This allows the camera operator to carry weight further away from the body.Cinema 3 is the heavy duty model for 35 mm movie cameras with weights between 15 25 kg (33 55 lbs). For further information, please visit easyrig.se.
