E-Image EI-7003 Reviews

Great for my use

I chose this one over the E-Image next-size-up model for 2 reasons. 1. I liked that the foot brakes on this one are metal. 2. I liked the spring loaded pins that hold the legs in place instead of the thumb screw mechanism. The spring pins are metal and even have a small plastic/silicone tip on the end to keep from scratching the arm if you swing it into place without lifting the pin first, which some idiots probably do. So, if you are an idiot then this is a good one.

Works great.

Purchased this item to use with my E-Image EK60AAM Fluid Drag Video Head and Tripod. It works great and seems to be really built solid.

Great Dolly with larger casters for smooth transfer. Beats my first dolly, the Magnus DWF-2 Dolly.

The build quality is good on this dolly. Very sturdy and quiet. The castors are excellent 3in wheels with good step on step off brakes. Also adds about 6in of height to tripod setup so you get over 6 feet with the GA752 3 stage tripod!

Estable y módico en precio

Hace un par de años adquirí un trípode de la misma line y dos Dolly previos a este modelo que acepta la cámara con sus aditamentos y se desliza con facilidad sobre el piso.

Rolls easily across hardwood floors while supporting a spotting scope mounted on an E-Image tripod.

Would the Manfrotto 645 fast twin leg tripod fit on this? It has double spikes.
Asked by: Troy
It should, I've used it with rubber footing and no problems but it is designed for double spikes. Depending on what you are looking for, I maybe recommend the Glidecam setup, it comes with the dolly feature and you can change it if you ever want to switch to the guided dolly wheels (tubes or rubber hose), its more of an investment but worth it.

Placing dance floor over the carpet would be more ideal for dolly movements.

I have a Celestron AVX tripod so I wonder if this work with it?
Asked by: Sang
Yes, this is a universal dolly, which has the option to hold spiked foot tripods, as well as single-point feet, which is what the Celestron has... Although, we would recommend using the following suppression pads on the feet for extra protection against unwanted vibrations - https://bhpho.to/3kBxiUs
