    Avinair AVPJ-MP7S Reviews

7S Mini Portable LED Projector is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth it This projector is very compact, relative to other projectors on the market. Since it's an LED-based projector, the screen lights up bright all around the image area, with sharp and vivid colors. The further I move away from the projector, the image becomes much clearer and sharper. Based on this, and the sub $ price tag, this is hands down really good value for money. But that's just the start. It supports 1080p HD and even 4K video, plus it handled most file formats I tried out. I see in the manual that the lens is made with an LED lamp, giving this projector a very long lifespan. It also has built in HDMI, VGA, USB, SD card and AV inputs, which makes this device easy to pair with any video or audio source. Definitely the most worthit piece of video equipment I bought this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Worth It For a hopeful movie producer, this product was a lifesaver. After years of wrestling with laptops, screens, cameras and projectors, all just to view my creations properly, I have finally found the right projector for me. It's super portable, which means I can not only use it when I'm showcasing my films for friends, but it also doubles as an aid for my college courses (and the numerous inputs/HDMI capability made the concern of working with my school's equipment less of an issue). The lifespan is great, and the light is much stronger than any portable projector I have worked with before. The quality for the films (or photos, if that's your thing) is great as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a projector worth their money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish it would work as advertised While the projector is nice and small, light and easy to transport, several features don't work. I tried to use the projector with several SD cards as the source and it wouldn't recognize the input. Also, the remote must be aimed at the back of the projector for it to work. Most of the presentations I do are done at the front of the room, making the projector impossible to control with the remote. Finally, there is a threaded insert in the bottom of the projector for a height adjustment, but no screw or support is provided, so I assume I will need to build my own unless I want to prop up the front of the projector on a book to aim properly. The output of the projector isn't bad for the money and it was brighter than I expected. Menus are a bit clunky to navigate, with no default setting that detects the input source.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as bright as other reviewers have stated Obviously this is an LED projector, but I had high hopes given the other positive reviews. You must have a pitch black room and have the projector a good distance from the wall to get any kind of decent image.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst product ever made I am shocked that B&H would not only sell such a product, but to highlight it on their Deal Zone... Come on B&H you are better than this!!!! I am offended I have to give it a star

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value! I needed a video projector in a pinch for a wedding. We had a beautiful slide-show to display of the bride and groom but the one we had suddenly stopped working. I didn't want to spend a fortune getting a new one. This one looked like an awesome bargain so I went for it. It shipped here super fast and I tested it right away. The quality is outstanding for the cost. The pictures being displayed followed by a short video were are in HD and it showed through the projection in both low-light and no light settings. I was very impressed by the size and the weight. It made it super easy to move around and hooking it up was a breeze. Needless to say, this was a great investment and made a very happy newly wed couple on their wedding night. I highly recommend this projector to anyone on a budget!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for school I'm a substitute teacher as a part-time job and spend many of the days I'm not working tutoring with a local ministry for inner city children. It's been hard to find ways to accurately portray what I want to teach them with just the marker and board that I've been given so I did some research and found this. The reviews were great so I bought it and could not be more pleased. It's easily portable to teach at many different locations and now I can put the world in front of my children so they can learn by seeing and doing. This has helped immensely and the crystal clear picture at a rather large range is perfect for large or small rooms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Little Guy! I use it mostly professionally, clients & buyers are always impressed and part wanting one of their own. Although, I've pulled it out at gatherings of a social bent on occasion. Small, light-weight (pocketable, literally), it takes my SD cards from any and all of my vid/pic devices and provides terrific resolution, distance---on either still shots or video. HD & 4K the LED internal light is tops...I'm a big LED believer and follower. There's places for my other AV inputs, USB of course. Versatile very much so.

    question

Hello? Nice product. I have a question. Does this projector gonna read pdf, ppt, doc files on usb flash disk???
    Asked by: Anonymous
The USB will not play those file types. It will play: RMVB, AVI, WMV, and FLV. According to the manufacturer/distributor, since it supports HD it should also support .MP4 and (most likely) .MOV

    question

Does it show JPEG photos so that I can edit my work?
    Asked by: Anonymous
UPDATE -- this projector will show .jpg files directly off of a USB flash drive or an SD card. However, it will NOT play .mpg files directly. I have not tried other video file formats yet. // // As to editing, as long as you don't need any great quality from the projected picture, it should work fine, but the limited native resolution of the projector means that most images will look pixilated when you examine them too closely.

    question

Does it work with 220 kw? Is the AC adapter for using outside US?
    Asked by: Marcela M.
Yes, it will work with 220V, but it does not include the plug adapter that is needed to plug it into a wall outlet in another country. // Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at support@dracobroadcast.com.

    question

WHAT IS THE TOTAL COST FOR THE PROJECTOR DELIVERED TO BOTSWANA?
    Asked by: Anonymous
It would depend on WHERE in Botswana. I believe it may cost less to ship to, say, the capital city of Gaborone, than it would to ship to a a smaller town such as Ghanzi, up in the north, by the Dqae Qare Game Farm. question

does it work with MAC OS?
    Asked by: Kalman
The projector will display anything on the screen of your MAC, however, it has very limited processing capacity within the remote. It can scroll through screens in a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation, or open a file on a thumb drive, but won't open a program and let you sort through files. It is best when mirroring what is being shown in your computer screen and controlling the data using the MAC itself rather than the remote provided with the projector
