Benro's S7 Dual Stage Video Tripod Kit is a complete tripod system ideal for studio applications and handling camera rigs weighing up to 15.4 pounds. The kit pairs the S7 video head with a twin leg aluminum tripod. The S7 head features a 4-step counterbalance system to dial in the correct amount for your set-up, and independent stepless pan and tilt drag settings for precise control over camera movements. A Benro QR11 sliding quick-release plate is provided. For added versatility, the 75mm-ball tiedown stud is removable to convert the head to a flat base for use on a slider or other support device.

The 2-stage, 3-section twin leg aluminum tripod incorporates a 75mm bowl and offers sturdy support for the S7 head. It features oversized quick positive leg locks for simple and fast setup, an adjustable/removable mid-level spreader, and dual spike feet with removable rubber pads. S7 Dual Stage Video Tripod Kit is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a good combo I use this tripod for video 95% of the time. It does well for the most part. It's light weight and the tripod portion has plenty of options from the feet all the way up to the half ball top. The head could use some work. The head can't handle anything heavy. By heavy I mean a dslr with a 70-200mm L series lens. Without locking the tilt portion down it will not hold the camera up. so I'm not sure where the 15lb rating comes in at. At that point the fluid head is pointless. aside from that, there's plenty of adjustments to be made on the head, although all the fluid motions seem very soft. Would I buy this tripod/head again? I would have a very tough time buying it over the manfrotto that's priced the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Sweet I'm a photographer who is now doing video as well. I have a nice ball head for photography, but it doesn't work so well for video. I bought the Benro S7 after reading lots of reviews and talking to another photographer who has one. The pan and tilts are so smooth now. I like that it has a flat base for use on sliders and comes with a half ball to help with leveling on the tripod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality for the price After years of buying cheap, disposable tripods, I wanted something a little more rugged for our ever-increasing video endeavors. After using it a couple of times for indoor assignments, this tripod certainly seems durable and sturdy. And the price was great too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tripod We're not professionals, but for our videos using a large ring light and DSLR it works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good General Purpose Tripod As a full time video producer/videographer, a tripod is way up there on the list of important purchasing decisions. I'm a bit of a tripod junkie and have gone through many tripods on my quest to find the perfect solution. The perfect solution for me has to meet certain criteria. . . sturdy enough for a moderate camera load, lightweight and small enough to be easy to carry, and most importantly, have adjustable tension for tilt and pan on the head. In most regards, the Benro is a great solution for my needs. The large knobs to tighten the legs are great. The tripod sits firmly in place. In the case the tripod is easy to carry and not too bulky. It's not the tallest tripod but generally the extended height is sufficient for most of what I do. The biggest area of criticism I have with the tripod is that I feel there could be more tension in the tilt. Pan tension is fine for me, but I have the tilt adjusted as far as it can go, and still feel that the tension could be a bit tighter. The pan and tilt are nice and smooth, however. I use this primarily with a Sony FS5 rig which is small and light and fits well with the size of the tripod. Overall one of the better tripods I have at a very reasonable price. Just not perfect. . .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Swell Tripod The head has performed great so. The tilt and panning is smooth. I did experience minor camera shake on a long lens (210-600mm) in wind on a mountain ridge, but that is to be expected. The legs extend nicely. The last tightening knob does run into the rubber foot finger loop, but it is not a real problem. The spreaders can be unscrewed to be removed, but it isn't a quick release system. Things seem to be smooth thus far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid tripod nothing fancy A sturdy head and sticks. It easily handles my c100 rig and i like the spreaders, eventhough Im not a fan of mid-level style usually. A downside is the tension adjust is on the collar and the pan lock is on the left side, purely convenience issues. The feet are a cheaper plastic and dont have rubber on them, but functionally a good mid range tripod.
