The gray ListenIR iDSP Standard System from Listen Technologies is an infrared system designed for assistive listening compliance in venues with up to 100 seats. It includes one Listen Technologies Stationary IR Transmitter, one Universal Rack Mounting Kit, one Stationary IR Radiator, four Intelligent DSP IR Radiators, four Intelligent Ear Phone/Neck Loop Lanyards, four Universal Ear Speakers, one Assistive Listening Notification Signage Kit, one USB to micro-USB cable, one Intelligent 12-Unit Charging Tray, one Intelligent Cable Management Unit, one container of disinfecting wipes, and one dispensing log book.
This LT-82 1-Channel Transmitter from Listen Technologies takes the desired audio signal and transmits the signal via coaxial cable to one or more LA-140 IR radiator-emitters. The LT-82 can be operated in mono or stereo on one of four different carriers, and up to four LT-82 units may be connected to provide up to four mono or stereo carriers to the radiator(s). The LT-82 generates DC power to power up to two LA-140 radiator-emitters. Two LT-82 units can be rack-mounted in a single rack space using the LA-326 rack mounting kit. The LT-82 may be used for government compliance (such as ADA), assistive listening, language interpretation, live theater, houses of worship, courtrooms, secure rooms, and for auditory description.
Secure wireless communication, suitable for applications where isolation of the signal is important
Up to four mono or stereo channels; no need to sacrifice multiple channels to achieve stereo transmissions (one LT-82 is required for each channel)
Transmitter can power two radiators/emitters (LA-140), using Cat5 cabling
Easy to specify, install, and use
Performance ensures clear sound for listeners
True stereo audio (left and right) is transmitted on a single carrier frequency
The LA-326 Universal Rack Mounting Kit from Listen Technologies is compatible with the company's LT-800 Stationary Transmitter, LT-803 3-Channel Stationary Transmitter, LT-82 Stationary IR Transmitter, and LR-100 Stationary Receiver/Amplifier. It allows for both single and dual mounting, and includes hardware for a large variety of configurations.
Listen Technologies LA-140 Stationary IR Radiator (Gray)
The gray LA-140 Stationary IR Radiator from Listen Technologies is designed for use with the LT-82 transmitter and allows you expand your assisted listening system's infrared coverage. Each LA-140 covers up to 10,000 ft², and two units can be powered directly from the transmitter. The unit can also be powered from an LA-205 power supply (available separately).
The radiator is easy to install and hardware is included for mounting the unit to a wall, ceiling, desk, mic stand, or tripod. Power is supplied through Cat 5 cabling, with standard coaxial cabling for the RF signal. Two LA-140 units can be mounted together horizontally or vertically, doubling the power of your system without taking up an excessive amount of space. Built-in delay compensation allows you to make adjustments when using multiple LA-140 units together to prevent phasing problems and signal cancellation.
Covers up to 10,000 ft² / 929 m²
Powered by LT-82 transmitter or LA-205 power supply (both available separately)
Two radiators can be powered from a single transmitter or power supply, eliminating the need for multiple cables
Two units can be horizontally or vertically mounted together, doubling the power in a small footprint
Mounting brackets and hardware are included for a variety of mounting options, including wall, ceiling, mic stand, and tripod mounting
Radiator diodes are automatically turned off if no audio signal is present at the transmitter after 30 minutes, saving radiator diode life
Delay compensation ensures there is no drop out in the IR signal
Listen Technologies Intelligent DSP IR Receiver
The Listen Technologies Intelligent DSP IR Receiver is for use with the company's infrared assisted listening systems. The unit features two 3.5mm stereo output jacks that can drive two pairs of headphones or a single LA-430 lanyard for T-coil users (both available separately). The result is a convenient listening experience in small-to-medium places where it's difficult to hear—including theaters, boardrooms, classrooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, and more.
The receiver has an OLED display that shows unique channel names, battery status, channel status, volume status, and charge activation. The micro-USB connection is used with the free iDSP software suite for set up, programming, inventory management, firmware updates, and charging via any standard USB port. A field-replaceable, lithium-ion battery is included with the unit that powers it for up to 8 hours.

Use with LA-430 neck loop/lanyard (available separately) with DSP loop driver to improve the listening experience for T-coil users
The Listen Technologies LA-430 Intelligent Earphone Neck Loop Lanyard is an integrated neck loop that works with any of the company's iDSP receivers and any of their earphones (available separately) and uses a DSP loop driver to deliver an improved listening experience for people who have hearing aids and cochlear implants with telecoils. It is capable of providing the proper field strength and a flat frequency response from the neck to the listening plane of the hearing aid—in accordance with IEC60118-4 standards. An automatic gain control circuit with a dynamic range of 36 dB optimizes speech and provides clear, intelligible audio.
The LA-430 plugs into an iDSP receiver and easily slips over the head to be worn around the neck like a lanyard; a quick release ensures immediate removal if necessary. The 3.5mm earphone jack on one side provides a connection to Listen's universal earphones or a similar pair of earbuds. The LA-430 enables venues to meet legislative requirements for assistive listening and deliver an enjoyable listening experience in places where it's difficult to hear, such as theaters, lecture halls, concert venues, and houses of worship.
