It works just for REC/STOP, or also focus, zoom and more? Can you also recommend lanc controller to use with this adapter (with focus control)?Thanks.
This cable provides, according to 16x9, offers Start/Stop functionality as well as zoom capabilities*. *The zoom function is only compatible with SONY E mount zoom lenses such as the FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Lens. So yes to start/stop and zoom with the listed lens, but no focus is possible it seems.

He means, the FS7 handgrip linked to the A7S with the Movcam LANC Cable, and FS7 the handgrip attached to an A7S cage like the Tilta ES T17 with rosette bracket. Could be an awesome setup but do you know if it works for REC/STOP, focus and zoom or more ?Thanks !

I'm looking to invest in a Manfrotto RC Clamp LANC Zoom (B&H # MAMVR901ECLA) mounted to a Sony a6300. Will this LANC Cable retain the focus & start / stop functions?
This cable is designed to work with the Sony A7s. The A6300 has the same multi-terminal input, so it is possible that it may work but it is not listed as compatible from Movcam.

I'm afraid not, this cable will only allow for Start/Stop Recording with the Movcam Anti-Skid Control Handgrip with LANC Start/Stop, B&H # MOASHRSST. We are not aware of any alternative options that will give you controls beyond Start/Stop Record.https://bhpho.to/2f3Z4sc

This cable convert to standard LANC protocol? I need use with a wireless focus system from Arri (specific the AMC-1 motor box). Ive the cable for run stop the LANC of Canon cinema, Blackmagic and also run the Fs7. Work my cable plus this cable with a A7sII too? Thanks.
Sorry, such a use is unknown. We would have to suggest contacting a video camera rental house and speak to a technician to see if such a custom cable can be made.

This LANC cabke is only compatible with the Sony A7S model and not the A7S II or III models for zoom control.

I was getting a 4-5 second delay after zooming with a manfrotto zoom rocker (looked like the rocker would shut off and turn back on every time after zooming. Was using an a7s and 18-105. Anyone else have this problem. Im looking for a way to use a good zoom rocker with an a7s and powered zoom lens. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
