Support up to 44.1 lb worth of gear with the TMA48CXL Extra Long Series 4 Mach3 Carbon Fiber Tripod from Benro. Made from 9-layer carbon fiber, the 4-section legs are secured via twist locks and extend to a maximum height of 82.9". The center column can be replaced with the included short column to allow the tripod to reach a minimum height of 15.9". The rubber feet can be swapped out for metal spikes so that the tripod can be used on hard surfaces, such as ice, or soft surfaces, like carpeting or a lawn. A ballast hook on the center column allows for the addition of stabilizing weight, and the included carrying case protects the tripod during transport. A 3/8"-16 threaded stud on the mounting platform lets you attach a head of your choice.

Benro Mach3 TMA48CXL Reviews
Imperfect tall tripod
Height and weight are great, but does not feel like it is built to last in a professional capacity. The center column needs to be tightened excessively to hold on (and I am not using extremely heavy cameras-- sony mirrorless with 24-105 & 16-35 zooms mostly), and it has gotten worse over time. The wingnut thing (and other accents) is also a ridiculous blue color-- just make things matte black please... The leg locks have the opposite problem, they have to be rotated really far to fully release on some sections. My previous tripod (Induro, which I think is the same thing as Benro) failed due to the center column, I expect this is what happen here too after a couple more years of use.
Not cheap but not Cheap!
I have another well known brand name tripod and this one is in another class. Its adjustments are positive and you can rest easy when you have expensive equipment on top of it. I would worry about this with my other tripod if I was not there to catch it in case it fell. Peace of mind is worth it! Buy once, cry once.
