question

Can i use this FA-DC67A Filter Adapter on Canon G3X camera ?
Asked by: Soe Minn M.
I am almost positive that you can. I actually purchased that camera for my son who lives out of town and I am going back about a year now-----however I did have that same problem and I did purchase all the additional accessories including a special screw on adapter and a filter and a lens hood. I just forget the stock number but I can safely inform you that this particular camera that nothing can be attached directly to the lens.

question

I coupled the lens hood with the filter adapter ring but could not install both onto the lens. Please advice? Thanks.
Asked by: HANH P.
I suggest purchasing a replacement lens cap so you don't have to remove the lens hood each time. A good replacement is a 67mm cap.

question

Do you get nicely blurred backgrounds or bokeh with the large aperture?
Asked by: Jay L.
Yes but you also have to use considerable telephoto. That helps. It's hard to get bokej with any small sensor. The sensor is 1 inch but it still requires the use of considerable telephone length.

question

Can you use Lens Hood & Filter Adapter at the same time
Asked by: Anonymous
The only way to use the lens hood is to have the filter adapter on. The hood does not attach directly to the lens otherwise.
