The RedNet 2 + RedNet 5 Bundle from Focusrite delivers a Dante equipped, 16x16 analog input/output audio interface, with a RedNet 5 bi-directional Dante network bridge interface for connecting multiple Dante systems to/from Avid Pro Tools HD.
RedNet 2 from Focusrite is a sixteen-channel, remote controlled input/output analog audio interface that uses the Dante digital audio networking system to bring studio quality sound to any modern audio application. The unit features 24-bit A-D and D-A conversion for excellent audio performance, with 119 dB of dynamic range at sample rates up to 192 kHz. Rock-stable JetPLL clocking and premium multi-layered board circuitry further facilitate the delivery of uncompromised audio.
The RedNet system was designed for use in multiple audio applications, from live sound rigs to multi-room recording studios, houses of worship, audio distribution installations, post production environments and anything in-between. The system is scalable and delivers near zero latency audio distribution, with the ability to expand I/O channel count, interface digital components, and/or bridge between Pro Tools|HD or MADI and a Dante audio network.
There are three methods of connecting the RedNet 2 to a computer using a single Ethernet cable. These are via an optional RedNet PCIe card (for ASIO and Core Audio applications), directly into the computer's Ethernet port using DVS (Dante Virtual Soundcard) software where near zero latency is not essential, or through an existing RedNet 5 interface for connecting directly to Pro Tools HD, Pro Tools HDX and Pro Tools HD Native.
Dante enabled, sixteen analog input/output digital audio converter

Connects to a computer via single Cat6 Ethernet cable
Up to 192 kHz sample rates
Remote control via RedNet software
2U rackmount chassis
RedNet 5 - Bi-Directional Pro Tools HD to Dante Network Bridge Interface
RedNet 5 from Focusrite is a multi-channel bridge interface that provides bi-directional communication between a Pro Tools HD system and a Dante network. The RedNet system was designed for use in multiple audio applications. The system is scalable and delivers near zero latency audio distribution, with the ability to expand I/O channel count, interface digital components, and/or bridge between Pro Tools HD and MADI and a Dante audio network.
A single RedNet 5 unit acts as a 64 channel (32 inputs plus 32 outputs) digital break-in/break-out box between a Pro Tools system and a RedNet network. Connectivity between RedNet 5 and Pro Tools is via Pro Tool's standard DigiLink connectors; an adaptor cable is included to allow compatibility with Pro Tools|HD systems that use the Mini DigiLink connectors.
Up to six units can be connected to a single Pro Tools HDX system, supporting up to 192 channels at 96 kHz or 96 channels at 192 kHz. Pro Tools HD Native and Pro Tools HD (TDM) are also supported and the RedNet 5 is interoperable with other Pro Tools interfaces with no RedNet PCIe card required.
Upgrade to RedNet interfaces while remaining fully compatible with saved sessions
Each RedNet 5 can route up to 32 input and 32 output channels between a RedNet network and a Pro Tools HD system
Connecting six RedNet 5 units to a Pro Tools HDX system allows up to 192 inputs and outputs - the maximum supported by Pro Tools HDX
Maintain existing Pro Tools workflow with simple, logical assignment of RedNet I/O to Pro Tools HD inputs and outputs
Compatible with Pro Tools HD TDM systems
Connects to a computer via single Cat6 Ethernet cable
