    Triggertrap TTTRAP reviews

Phonetrap Smartphone Holder is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nifty hot-shot phone holder How I use the TriggerTrap Smartphone Holder: - I bought this, so I could record BTS while shooting on my DSLRs. What I like about the TriggerTrap Smartphone Holder: - It securely holds my iPhone 6 in a horizontal orientation, on my hot shoe, right above the camera. This allows me to record BTS while shooting actively. What I don't like about the TriggerTrap Smartphone Holder: - I do wish it could hold the phone in portrait orientation, but most recording is done in landscape anyways. = Overall: - This is an awesome way to make use of my phone during shoots. A must have for BTS if you're using a smartphone. =

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Phone Holder I was expecting a bit more from this item for the price, but it's not too bad. The cold shoe mount is solid and the phone gets a lot of pressure on it to hold it in place along with the small rubber bumps on the top part of the harness. The rubber part at the top and bottom cushions/rubber pieces that are meant to hold the phone are short and don't extend too the back of the arms, so when holding a phone like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S7, it has to stay in the middle of the holder and can't be pushed all the way back to lean against the arms (which I think would make it feel more safe and secure). It doesn't have a nice fit to thing phones. The top rubber handle doesn't last long when depending on that to pull open the holder. It does have a tight hold on the phone, so it seems to stay relatively still, but it doesn't feel like a good fit for many thin smart phones. The plastic seems cheap and the $20 price tag for this unit seems like it's too much. It seems more like an $8 or $10 price would fit the build of this holder. It does work, so I'll be using it since I didn't feel like returning a $20 product, but I'm not impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and well designed I like this little support. I use it mainly on a mini tripod or hotsoe of my camera to use photo applications such as Kick, controlling lighting or Slow Shutter etc. I also tried it on my monopod cane and my iPhone to take pictures and it's going very well. I suggest having a slim case, I have a Spigen ToughArmor. No complaints, it is solid and well designed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product I use it to to hold an iphone 6 and a 6+. Works fine for both. No problems using it. The rubber handle that you can use to extend the clamp and secure the phone falls out easily, but it functions without it.
