Supporting HD and UHD resolutions, the KanexPro 1 x 8 4K HDMI Distribution Amplifier splits a single HDMI signal for identical output on up to 8 displays simultaneously with smart EDID management and while maintaining HDCP 2.2 protocol. Computer resolutions like 1920 x 1200 are also supported. Audio information, including multi-channel surround sound audio in various formats, also remains intact. The built-in signal amplifier can send HDMI signals up to 50 feet, but for longer cable runs, HDBaseT extenders are recommended. This unit is lightweight and sized for permanent mounting or portable use.
