The Cambridge Audio Minx S225-V3 5.1-Channel Speaker System in high gloss black consists of 5 matched satellite speakers and an external subwoofer. Each Minx Min 22 satellite speaker houses a dedicated driver and woofer and can handle up to 200W amplifiers. The external Minx X201 features a 200W digital amplifier and is equipped with a front-firing 6.5" driver. The subwoofer also includes dual 6.5" passive radiators for optimized bass response.
Minx Min 22 Bookshelf Speaker (Black)
At only 6" tall, the black Minx Min 22 Bookshelf Speaker from Cambridge Audio is a compact speaker designed to provide the sound quality and depth of larger box speakers without occupying much space. It uses Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) technology to produce wide frequency response with 180° sound dispersion for a wide sound stage. The Min 22 combines the BMR driver with a dedicated woofer for even greater depth, and its acoustically-dampened thermo polymer and extruded aluminum construction offers a rigid speaker cabinet to disperse coloration. With a speaker terminal design that can be removed to support banana plugs, the versatile Minx Min 22 Speaker offers universal connection to any home theater receiver or amplifier. For even more flexibility, the speaker can be set directly on most surfaces or mounted in multiple ways.
4th generation BMR driver for wide frequency response and sound dispersion
At less than 9" tall, the black Minx X201 Subwoofer from Cambridge Audio is a compact subwoofer designed to provide the deep bass of larger subwoofers without occupying much space. It features a 200W digital amplifier, a 6.5" active forward-firing woofer, and two 6.5" Auxiliary Bass Radiators (ABRs) to eliminate air noise at high levels and efficiently deliver powerful bass despite the X201's small cabin. The Minx X201 also uses a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which offers real-time control of equalization and dynamic range processing. This allows the subwoofer to reach a high power output without overloading or distorting the driver.
