The Vintage Series R320SWRK from Washburn is a parlor-size acoustic guitar that resembles an instrument crafted by Washburn in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It can be used by performing musicians in various environments such as live stage, theater, studios, rehearsals, recitals, and more.
The R320SWRK features a spruce top with rosewood back and sides, and quarter-sawn scalloped Sitka Spruce bracing. An abalone rosette decorates the soundhole, and the bridge is made of ebony. The neck is constructed from mahogany and has a 24.75" scale with a V-shaped profile, and an 18-fret ebony fingerboard with a 48mm-wide bone nut. The fingerboard features exquisite tree of life inlays.
For a more authentic look, the R320SWRK sports a vintage finish and distressed open-gear tuners. The guitar comes set up with D'Addario EXP-16 light-gauge phosphor bronze strings and a hardshell case is included. Because the R320SWRK is built using modern techniques and materials, the resulting instrument is more durable, and in many cases, better sounding than its century-old counterpart.
