Pat Crawford designed the CRKT fixed blade Triumph N.E.C.K., or "No-nonsense Emergency Compact Knife", for those occasions when your primary weapon cannot be used. It features a full-tang skeletonized design, with a full-edged recurved tanto blade to aid cutting and a false top edge grind for enhanced penetrating power. The knife is made from one piece of 2CR13 stainless steel with a black, non-reflective corrosion-resistant EDP (Electrophoretically Deposited Paint) finish. The handle is wrapped in paracord to not only give it a distinctive look, but a comfortable slip-resistant grip. The handle has an ergonomic downward curve with finger grooves for a natural fit in the hand.
CRKT includes a custom Kydex sheath with multiple carrying options. The belt clip has a quick-release system that allows it to be put on and removed without taking the belt off. The orientation of the clip can be adjusted to allow for horizontal or vertical carry. A secondary carrying option, the BioTac paracord harness, is used without the clip for wearing the knife and sheath around the neck as a basic lanyard, over the shoulders, in front or on the back. Depending on the orientation you can cross draw it with a forward grip, or a same-side draw to a reverse grip.
