Sensei FWM-7282 overview

  • 1Description

If you've ever had difficulty removing a filter from your lens, these Sensei Rubberized 72-82mm Filter Wrenches can help save the day. Two steel wrenches that each features a fully-rubberized surface are included with this set. Both wrenches may also be used to separate up to two stacked filters on a single lens. This can be accomplished by using one wrench to hold the filter closest to the lens in place and using the other wrench to unscrew the other filter. Along with long handles and a squeeze-type design, their rubberized surfaces further ensure comfort and provide an enhanced grip for ease of use. These wrenches are compatible with filters ranging from 72-82mm in diameter.

72-82mm Rubberized Filter Wrench (2-Pack) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from They saved the day After spending several hours trying to separate a B+W circular polarizing filter and a B+W UV filter with my fingers and rubber jar lid openers, I gave up and order these. To say the least these two high quality (and expensive) filters were very stuck. It took about 30 seconds to get the Filter Wrenches correctly around the filters and then in a split second the filters started to separate. What a great tool to get your filters unstuck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Life and Lens Saver When my polarizing filter wouldn't screw off of my lens, I tried common-sense solutions to no avail. I used a rubber-band to get a tighter grip; a carefully placed drop of WD40 to loosen the threads, other solutions I no longer remember from a frantic Google search. I finally chose this item from a bunch of similar versions because it's made of rubber-coated metal as opposed to plastic. One wrench grasps the lens barrel near the filter; the other grasps the filter. The wire is thick enough for strength, but flexible enough for you to feel the pressure and torque you're applying. The filter was removed in a matter of seconds. I'd heartily recommend this item to anyone who uses filters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a relief! I had my filters jam onto each other and onto step-down rings bad enough to get pretty frustrating - especially when you're on a shoot or out on a trail and just can't get them apart. So I ordered these wrenches to see if they really work and WOW! These are a must-have. They turn something that is very difficult into very easy. The filters just twist right off. There's no sense putting yourself through the aggravation of jammed filters when these wrenches are so inexpensive. And they're durable: metal covered in gripping rubber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lifesaver! :) Ok! If you've ever had 2 filters stick together, or just one get stuck on your lens, you know all too well the horrible feeling of DREAD... You worry that you'll screw up the threads on your expensive lens... you worry about ruining your expensive filter. Anyway, you get it ;) On the occasion that I purchased this filter wrench, I had an expensive polarizer get stuck on a uv filter. None of my usual tricks worked because it was too hard to get a good hold on the narrow polarizer. Luckily, I found & ordered this great tool online. It shipped quickly & worked like a charm - yay! The narrow size of it works really great on narrow polarizers or filters that are hard to get a good grip on otherwise. So my advice is BUY this now if you have a filter that is stuck, or BUY it even if you don't have a filter stuck to just have it on hand. You won't be sorry! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked perfectly I tried every other way that I could think of an also every method I could find on the web. In the end, I couldn't seperate my two filters, one was a thin CPL, so it made it even more difficult. I got the Sensei wrenches and worked perfectly and easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Creative tool I do not think there is anyone out there who did not struggle with stuck filters one time or an other. You put your lens into the fridge, you wrap warm towels around it, the darn thing will not budge. This tool will go a long way to make my life easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and would buy again, I wish I would have known about these years ago. Helped big time with removing stubborn filters without destroying them or your high dollar lenses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product These filter wrenches work as advertised. They are far superior to the cheaper plastic wrenches (which I also own) - don't bend as easily in use and allow a firmer and more even grip on the filter/lens. Highly recommended.
