Hoodman HoodEYE Reviews
Fits better than the stock eyecup
My stock eyecup disappeared because it always seems too loose. So far, the hoodman seems to fit on a bit more snug, and seems very well made. Only wish the bottom of the eyecup were flat instead of protruding across the top of the LCD But scissors will fix that!
Does not fit on Sony A7siii
Supposed to work with the Sony A7siii but it does not. Will send it back.
Wil Not Fit A7SIII
This eyecup will not work with the A7SIII.
Must have
I’m a huge Hoodman Hoodeye fan. I buy them for all of my camera bodies (Nikon and Sony) for added comfort. It makes a huge difference on days you’re shooting for long periods of time.
I am ordering another!
I love this eye piece ! It really blocks out the sun light and makes it so much easier to see what your shooting. I am ordering more for my other camera!
Way better than stock
Works as advertised! I only wish I had bought one sooner!
Fits on Sony a77 II
keeps light out
Works with Sony A77 II
We rarely use the rear LCD and use the view finder most of the time. This makes viewing it much easier in bright sunlight and just snaps on to the camera. It will get in the way of your rear LCD. Works with our Sony A77 II. ~photosbymeta
