Hasselblad 1100277 Overview

An all-in-one zoom covering wide-angle to telephoto perspectives, the LF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS from Hasselblad is a versatile 27-300mm equivalent lens designed for APS-C format E mount mirrorless cameras. One extra-low dispersion element and four aspherical elements have been incorporated within the design to control aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range for greater sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy. Complementing the optical attributes, an internal focusing design, along with a stepping AF motor, contribute to fast, smooth focusing performance that benefits both stills and movie recording applications. Additionally, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake when working in difficult lighting conditions and an Active Mode compensates for a great range of movement types for smoother videos and photos of moving subjects.

Versatile wide-angle to telephoto zoom provides a 27-300mm equivalent focal length range when used with APS-C-format image sensors.
Four aspherical elements control spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range and also help to reduce the overall size and weight of the lens.
One extra-low dispersion glass element helps to eliminate chromatic aberrations for increased sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy.
Optical SteadyShot image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake to benefit handheld shooting in low-light conditions and with slower shutter speeds. A dedicated Active Mode is also available, which compensates for a broader range of movements to better suit movie recording and photographing moving subjects.
Internal focusing design only moves the middle groups of elements for changing focus, which maintains the overall length of the lens during use, quickens focusing speeds, and helps to achieve a minimum focusing distance of 11.8". Additionally, the front filter ring of the lens does not rotate during use to better enable working with circular polarizers and graduated ND filters.
A stepping autofocus motor delivers quick, quiet, and smooth performance to suit both still shooting and movie recording.
Rounded seven-blade diaphragm creates a pleasing out-of-focus quality with shallow depth of field imagery.

question

Where can I get lens hood for this lens?
Asked by: Anonymous
It doesnt look as though we carry a dedicated hood for this lens. Though, it has a 67mm filter thread, so you could use a generic 67mm lens hood with the lens. Otherwise, you might contact Sony to see if you could source their 18-200mm E-mount lens hood, which would work with this lens.SonyTel: 888-476-6972 or 800-222-7669Website: http://www.sony.com/

question

Is this the same lens as the Sony SEL 18-200 ?
Asked by: Reuben C.
Amazingly it appears there are 2 Sony 18-200 e-mount zooms. plus a power zoom model. This is the same as the original one which is reputed to be better made, and slightly better performance and slightly more expensive but is bigger and heavier. The newer Sony model is different.
