Axis Communications P3225-LV overview

  • 1Description

A small, but powerful camera, the P3225-LV IR Indoor Network Camera from Axis Communications offers 1080p HD resolution and a large angle of view in both corridor and standard formats due to the 3 to 10.5mm varifocal lens. With zoom focus capabilities the camera can be remotely adjusted using the Axis Video Hosting System to focus on a specific subject or can monitor a large area. The wide dynamic range, backlight compensation, auto gain composure, and adjustable white balance features provide clear video footage while the IR cut filter adjusts to create smooth transitions in situations with varying illumination levels. Integrated IR LEDs can record footage up to 82' away, and the OptimizedIR technology works to prevent white-out and glare in low light illumination. The camera transmits video over multiple streams in H.264 and Motion JPEG formats and an in-camera memory slot accommodates a microSD/SDHC/SDXC card for saving footage for later review. Housed in an IP52 and IK08-rated enclosure the camera is impact-resistant, water-resistant, and dust-resistant.

Horizontal and corridor format allow for wide angle of view along either axis
Varifocal lens can be focused and zoomed remotely
IR cut filter for smooth transitions for environments with varying light levels
P-Iris lens automatically adjusts in relation to light levels for high levels of contrast, clarity, resolution, and depth of field
OptimizedIR technology adjusts infrared illumination to focus on zoomed area or spotted subject for preventing white-out and glares
Wide dynamic range ensures high color quantity for focusing on details within the scene, helpful for forensic footage
Adjustable white balance creates accurate color depiction
Auto gain control adjusts for maintaining strong illumination signals
Zipstream compression lowers bandwidth and storage requirements for storing more footage on a single SD card
Video motion detection and tampering alarms
