Bose QuietComfort 20 overview

  • 1Description

The black QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise-Cancelling In-Ear Headphones from Bose feature their active noise-cancelling technology with an in-ear headphone design. The headphones are powered by Bose's TriPort Acoustic drivers to produce a balanced frequency response. They are powered by the built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides up to 16 hours of noise cancellation per charge. The in-line microphone and remote allows you to take calls and control your Android, Blackberry, or Windows phone.

Aware Mode
There are moments when you may not want to be so cut off from your surroundings. Crossing a city street. Waiting for airline gate announcements. This is where Aware mode comes in. Instead of removing your headphones, just press a button, and you're back in touch with the sounds around you - while your music keeps playing, and you still experience some noise cancellation
Rechargeable Battery
The environmentally friendly built-in lithium-ion battery (located inside the module) charges in just 2 hours with the included USB cable, and delivers up to 16 hours playing time per charge. A battery indicator light displays power status. And, even if the battery dies, your music still plays with performance equal to that of our regular in-ear headphones

    Bose QuietComfort 20 reviews

QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise-Cancelling In-Ear Headphones (Black) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 97.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thought this day would never come! I bought the original pair when they were released roughly 2 yrs ago and enjoyed everything but the volume controls (never owned an iPhone). Recently picked these up and gave the other pair to my gf (has an iPhone). My gf actually thought I bought her a new pair due to the superb quality, lack of bumps from cable-tangling, and wear. Did not. lol I've had every phone in the Galaxy line-up and finally settled on the Note 4 for travel. Movies, reading, notetaking and music are really enjoyable now with quick volume controls! I'm enjoying my favorite activities like I first did when I was introduced to these earphones but now with more control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The noise cancellation dream came true With these headphones I felt that the noise cancellation dream came true. I traveled 8 hours by plane and after putting on the headphones I could not take them anymore because it was like passing from the silence of your room where you listen to the piano music to the noise of airplane engines to snore and make a big headache. I thank the Bose team for their intelligence and development in order to be able to put on the market these headphones which, because of their size, are even easy to carry, since I do not have the patience to carry large headphones with me, which, after a while, leaves me ear perspiring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Headphones I've Ever Had!!1 I have had these headphones for about 2 and a half years and they are by far the best headphones ever. This includes over ear, on ear, and in ear headphones. I've had multiple Bose, Monster, and Beats headphones and nothing compares to these. I recommend this to anybody who is looking for headphones. The price might seem steep before you have them in hand but the quality all around is worth way more than the price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love these, but I've been through 2 pairs..... I absolutely love these headphones, but I've been through two pairs of them in the last year and a half. The comfort is fantastic, and the sound is really great. I love being able to tune out. The only big problem I've had with them is that the wire that goes into the batter pack on both sides comes loose after about 6 months of use. The result is a crackling and shorting out of the noise cancelling function, which is really annoying and tends to hurt my ears. Bose has a great warranty program, so that's helpful, but I wish I didn't have to go through the hassle of replacing them at all. I hope they find a way of reinforcing those wires. Then it'll be a 5 star from me!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great wire I bought these the very first day they were available a little over two years ago. I've traveled to over about a dozen countries, and almost every US state, taken over 200 flights, use them daily in my commute to work, and while mowing the lawn weekly. There's not a single thing wrong with them, and they look brand new. Apparently mine are 'special'.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sound. Wire frays quickly. Received these as a Christmas gift and was very pleased with the sound quality and fit. Noise canceling works well and sound is clear from the low-end to the highs. Obviously, the noise canceling feature requires frequent charging, which is one of the major down sides to these headphones. But, the most disappointing aspect was definitely the weak construction of the headphone wire, which broke down and frayed within 15 months of purchase, causing the audio to die completely. If you're someone who moves your phone in and out of your pocket frequently or works out in your headphones, then you'd better pull the cord out of your phone jack and straighten the cord each time you take your phone out of your pocket, or prepare for your wire to fray quickly and the headphones to break within the first 2 years.
