Standard Battery for Galaxy S5 (Non-Retail Packaging) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really is as adverised. I ordered this battery for my wife's Samsung S5 because her original battery was no longer holding a charge. She had to recharge about every 3 to 4 hours. After i received the new battery, i looked it over real good. It came in a cardboard shipping box with air filled packing around it. The battery also had a plastic sleeve around it. The sleeve appears to have never been opened. This battery is brand new. It is the original battery. Has NFC built into it also. I would by again. My wife has not had any problems with this battery. She said it lasting as long as it did when her phone was brand new. We have had the new battery 12 days now, so far so good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from There is a problem with these batteries I bought 2 of these a few months ago at the same time. They came up slightly different. One has what looks like a tiny white sticker on the edge near the contacts. the other does not have it. The one with the sticker performed very well without any issue. The other one takes forever to charge and after a few months is literally physically falling apart. My guess is part of the stock is not genuine Samsung or is coming from a very bad source. I will try to buy another one but I would not recommend it to someone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not hold a charge Very disappointed in the product. The battery does not hold a charge- not anywhere close to the OEM battery. I wish I could return it, but I threw away the packaging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery saved me the cost of replacing a $750 cell phone I know you're probably thinking it's only just a battery. The Samsung Galaxy S5 being one of the older devices so many companies don't even carry it anymore. Come to find B&H Camera not only had the OEM Battery but priced it not only lower than a generic battery but even lower than the OEM. The battery works great and I'm sure it will give me another 2 years as did the original. When you need something for electronics from hi end to the little nitty gritty Search B&H Camera first you just might be surprised they carry what you're looking forbut also at a price that meats everyones approval

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not appear to meet specified capacity Previously I've bought Samsung S4 replacement batteries from B&H and they have appeared as specified in terms of capacity. Ordered a Samsung S5 battery and the capacity was not much better than the 3+ year old original it was replacing, ie not quite one day performance vs more than a day use..... (original measured 1680mah, replacement 1788mah). Samsung specifies these as 2800mah capacity. B&H sent a replacement that arrived yesterday. Its capacity measures 1829mah, 35% lower than the specified capacity. Interestingly, the serial numbers of both S5 replacement batteries are the same (AA1J620PS/2-B), and there is no DBQ (Date Code) marking as per the original. All batteries marked made in China with cells from Korea. I have tested other types LiIon batteries from known manufacturers and my measurements correlated with specified capacities. This group of batteries do not appear to meet capacity, but if your old battery is really tired these should be better. B&H has, over many years provided quality products in my experience. I have provided this information directly to B&H and I believe they will respond. These should be originals, the price and service is great, but...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sadly they didn't work Bought 2 of these, out of the pkg I put each of them in my phone & both had 46% charge on them. After charging both to 100% only one of them would power on the phone. I returned the faulty one to B&H and recv'd a full refund. (Thank you) Since then the remaining battery no longer powers on the phone. Very disappointing, but to be fair I cannot fully blame B&H for this issue. I'm sure they believe these batteries will perform as required & wouldn't know they were defective until they were put into use by a customer. Oh well. :-(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted 39 days Arrived on March 22nd dead by April 30th. At first look, it seemed like a regular OEM battery - flat, held a charge, lasted all day. Yet 39 days later, after using the phone all morning and with ~88% charge, the phone just shut off and would not turn on without plugging the phone in. Replacing the "new" battery with the original battery fixed the issue. Also testing the "new" battery in a different phone resulted in the same problem. I also purchased this product again (arrived on April 23rd), so time will tell if the first "new" battery was a fluke or more common problem. I will update this review in the future. Difference from Original Battery (~ 6 year old): - Change mfg/assembly from Japan/Korea (cell made in Japan, assembled in Korea) to Korea/China.
