The General Brand 35.5mm Collapsible Rubber Lens Hood helps to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by shading the front element of the lens. Its collapsible, rubber design enables it to remain on your lens at all times without requiring much additional space and it also serves to protect the lens from accidental impact. This lens hood has a 35.5mm threaded screw-in design and is intended for use with normal focal lengths.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great does what it's suppose to do I use it on my Fujian 35m f/1.7. But I had to remove the metal filter and just use the rubber to mount it on the lens which is a bit of an hassle cause the filter thread is too large compared to the lens filter thread. But that's ok you can even use 58mm filters on the head and probably 52/56mm. It holds multiple filters easily. very glad I bought this despite the time it takes to mount everything without a thread and just the rubber.
