Lian Li PC-A61B overview

  • 1Description

The black PC-A61B Mid Tower Desktop Case from Lian Li offers a versatile system build with a modular cage along with removable drive trays. You can install up to four optical drives in the 5.25" external drive bays. This case also provides six removable drive trays for 2.5" or 3.5" drives with space to attach a seventh 2.5" drive behind the motherboard. You can remove the modular cage, which holds three 5.25" drives, to position the drive trays higher on the case to make room for graphics cards up to 16.5" long. For housing other components, this chassis features seven slots for expansion cards and can support ATX and micro-ATX motherboards as well as ATX power supplies. On the top of the case, you can connect your peripherals via four USB 3.0 ports along with two 3.5mm audio jacks.

Cooling the system is accomplished with two front 120mm fans for intakes and a third rear 120mm fan for exhaust. Furthermore, this case can accommodate two optional 140mm or 120mm fans on the top. Lian Li includes multiple washable air filters that protect your components from unwanted dust. To help improve the airflow, you can move all the wires behind the motherboard with a cable management system. Additionally, this case can hold radiators at two places to build a liquid cooling solution.

  • Cool air is pulled in through the two front 120mm fans, and warm air is pushed out by the rear 120mm fan
  • Multiple air filters help prevent dust from getting inside the case
  • Six removable drive trays can each hold a 2.5" or 3.5" drive
  • Remove one or two drive trays to support graphics cards up to 16.5" long
  • You can attached a seventh 2.5" drive behind the motherboard
  • The 5.25" cage holds up to three optical drives or can be removed to install a fourth optional 120mm fan
  • The PC-A61 can support a 240mm or 360mm radiator in the front as well as a 240mm or 280mm radiator on the top
  • The multimedia ports provide easy connectivity to your peripherals
  • This case also offers rubber grommets for cables, vented PCI brackets, liquid cooling holes, and a removable front panel

    Lian Li PC-A61B reviews

PC-A61B Mid Tower Desktop Case (Black) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Case Using this case for my main pc. +Case is light weight with good fit and finish. + PC uses water cooling so that was the main reason for a new case. + Plenty of room and good air flow + 5x 5.25 for a DVD and Sata hot swap bay + Filters on the intakes is a nice touch The internal hard drive trays are held in with two thumb screws. Not a problem just pointing it out. Not enough room on top for a push-pull fan setup, not sure any case will let you do that. There is no reset button on the case, I dont use it that often but when I do, it would be nice not to take the side cover off to push it. The power button assembly feels scratchy when you push it, not that its cheap but its just not smooth feeling. Lian Li will be on the top of the list when I need a new case.
