With this B&H Kit, you will receive the Seagate 4-Bay NAS Pro Server Enclosure and four 3TB SATA hard drives to provide 12TB of data storage for your business and personal needs. This network storage solution offers the ability to collaborate, share, and access files even when on the go. You can utilize this kit with your network via Gigabit Ethernet connections for backing up your systems or streaming media to your mobile devices and TV. Utilizing the two LAN ports with failover and link aggregation support ensures continual service in the event that one of the LANs fails unexpectedly. You can also connect this NAS to your Windows, Mac, and Linux systems using its USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. To help ensure 24 x 7 operations, the 3.5" NAS hard drives feature better vibration and temperature tolerances than standard drives and can be configured into a RAID mode with this enclosure. Once you have installed the drives, this NAS offers file transfers up to 200 MB/s, which is fast enough to support up to 50 users.

The NAS Pro is equipped with Intel's dual-core 1.7 GHz processor and has 2GB of RAM to support fast and frequent file sharing between users, as well as multiple applications running simultaneously. It features SimplyRAID technology that is built into the NAS OS 4 software. This technology guides you in choosing between JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, which can provide capacity, performance, or redundancy. Moreover, it allows you to start storing files immediately after you install drives and select your configuration, without waiting hours for the RAID volume to build. Within the App Manager in NAS OS 4, you can install apps that turn the NAS into a recording solution for IP cameras or an anti-virus app that can scan files and identify potential threats before it is too late. It also features NAS-to-NAS backup, which allows IT administrators to back up shares to other NAS devices on the network or a remote location over the Internet.

  • Seagate STDE100 4-Bay NAS Pro Server Enclosure

The STDE100 4-Bay NAS Pro Server Enclosure from Seagate is a network storage solution that offers the ability to collaborate, share, and access files even when on the go. This NAS server enclosure offers four bays each able to hold a SATA II 3.5" or 2.5" drive. No drives are included. Furthermore, the NAS Pro is equipped with Intel's dual-core 1.7 GHz processor and has 2GB of RAM to support fast and frequent file sharing between users, as well as multiple applications running simultaneously.

The NAS Pro server features SimplyRAID technology that is built into the NAS OS 4 software. This technology guides you in choosing between JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, which can provide performance, capacity, redundancy, or a combination of performance and redundancy. Moreover, it allows you to start storing files immediately after you install drives and selected your configuration, without waiting hours or days for the RAID volume to build. Connect the Seagate NAS Pro server to your network via the two Gigabit LAN ports or to your Windows, Mac, and Linux system via USB 3.0 or USB 2.0. By utilizing two LANs with failover and link aggregation with a convenient hot swappable spare support, ensures continual service in the event that one of the drives require replacement or a LAN fails unexpectedly.

For accessing files on the NAS Pro when on the go, Seagate includes Sdrive for PC, Mac, Android, and Apple OS devices. The Sdrive app for mobile devices offers enhanced security by encrypting the files before they leave the NAS and requires user credentials to decrypt and access the files. By backing up over the Internet to a second Seagate NAS server provides offsite protection while retaining ownership of your data. Another feature is built-in iSCSI support, which offers performance and additional storage for servers and workstations on the network that supports IP SAN and NAS applications. Along with the Seagate 4-Bay NAS Pro server enclosure are a power cable and Ethernet cable.
