JASMINE S-34C Reviews

Beautiful Guitar

I can´t believe this guitar costs below 100 USD, it certainly sounds much better than that! A beautiful clean and clear tone. Unfortunately mine came with a little hit on the base but I assume this was because of the logistics because I ordered mine all the way to  Mexico. If you want a really good acoustic guitar without spending a fortune this is the best option you can get.

Decent build, mediocre sound

Guitar arrived quickly and in good shape. Build seems pretty good with a nice subdued (flat) finish. No issues with frets or anything else. Action was fine right out of the box. It's loud! ("Grand Orchestra".) However, sound is "meh" at best - loud but dull, and dark. May well be the strings - will change and update. Overall I'd give it 3-3.5 stars - nice build but could sound better. If it sounds better with different strings it'd be 4 stars.

In 3 weeks it started to buzz on many frets... Also splinter near the head...

1 week of ownership now. I just can not complain. As a beginner I was looking to buy a guitar with a good sound and was ready to buy Taylor 100series. Happy i bought this product. It hold tuning well. Feels easy to learn as well. Fretboard is smooth.

Satisfied

I was looking for a cheap guitar with laminate construction that I could take on trips, camping, etc. This guitar received many favorable reviews on many sites and for the price there was no reason not to give it a try. The guitar was delivered in good condition with reasonable action, strings in good condition and tuners, while not high quality, keep the strings reasonably in tune. I did adjust the action and changed strings, which improved playability and sound. The finish is on the low end but I'm fine with it. The sound is pleasantly good. It is not tonally full or as resonant as guitars at a higher price point, but isn't that expected? I'm quite surprised by how good this guitar is and its $79.99 delivered. It will be a great travel / camping guitar. I order another one just because it's cheap, plays well and sounds fine for my intended use of this guitar.

question

are the strings nice and close to the neck or are they pretty far out?
Asked by: JORGE S.
I'd say close since my 13 year old has no trouble playin it and I think she would struggle with a high action. Also she switched to Martin Silk & Sleel strings which are great for a beginner.
