The M104 Distortion+ from MXR is a germanium-powered, soft-clipped distortion pedal designed to drive the front end of your amp. It features a warm, tubey overdrive effect and can create a range of tones from mild gain that works well for playing blues to fuzzier, more saturated tones with longer sustain, appropriate for classic hard rock.

The yellow M104 Distortion+ pedal features an output knob to control the overall volume level of the effect, and a distortion knob to control the amount of distortion. The footswitch turns the effect on or off with true bypass, and a red LED indicates when the effect is on. It is powered by a single 9V battery or a 9 VDC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003E, or a DC Brick power supply (sold separately).
